Belle Vie

Re-Imagine the Possibilities

Patti is a former teacher whose focus in life coaching is Transition. She specializes in Baby Boomer Issues and Retirement. Although a change in direction or purpose is exciting and rejuvenating, it also includes--often unexpectedly--varying degrees of fear, uncertainty, and anxiety. Patti's goal is to provide a supportive and productive environment for walking through that process, for crossing the bridge from one landscape to another. She and her clients, together, discover--or uncover--ways to accept, embrace, and celebrate the challenges and opportunities that lead to transformation, growth and a new way of being. The power to create (or re-create) a "belle vie"--a beautiful life--lies within each person, and that process unfolds with ease, intention, clarity, and joy in partnership with a Personal Life Coach.

Re-Imagine a new life while experiencing transitions such as:

  • retirement
  • chronic pain
  • marriage/divorce
  • recovery from addiction
  • a new job
  • health limitations
  • "empty nest" issues
  • aging/ailing parents

Melissa Mouton, MS, RD, CD

Registered Dietitian
Nutrition Counselor

Nutrition Wellness provides individual and group nutrition counseling sessions as well as group nutrition education workshops.

All services are provided by Melissa Mouton, a Registered Dietitian with training at the University of Washington and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Melissa completed her Master Degree in Nutrition at Bastyr University.

Specializing in weight loss without dieting, nutrition for Cancer prevention and management, as well as general nutrition and wellness with an emphasis on foods grown locally and sustainably.

Melissa is passionate about guiding others to develop a healthy relationship with food. She believes in providing a comforting, non-judgmental environment for a client to learn and make positive changes. She understands that weight issues are not always just about food. Stress, emotions, and boredom are often associated with overeating.

Processes such as off and on dieting can lead to eventual, increased weight gain (even though you may have lost some weight while on the diet). Melissa works with clients to help them move away from diets and become intuitive eaters, which allows them to achieve a healthy weight.

Other areas of focus include:

  • food allergies
  • irritable bowel syndrome
  • detox and elimination diets
  • vegetarianism
  • heart disease
  • diabetes
  • pediatric nutrition
  • supplement evaluation and recommendations

Insurance and self-pay clients welcome. Currently a preferred provider for Aetna in Washington State.
