Rachel has been working as a clinician in the field of chemical dependency since 1996. She is a registered counselor, credentialed chemical dependency counselor, and chemical dependency professional. She has expertise working in both the treatment and school-based settings. Her focus is with clients facing issues around substance abuse, chemical dependency, and family history of addiction. Rachel has a strengths-based approach. She works with clients to provide empowerment, hope, and builds upon their passions, talents and goals. Rachel specializes in Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT), utilizing her therapy dogs as a tool in the healing process with clients. She has a passion for strengthening the human-animal bond, and is actively involved with Delta Society.
